Why is K-Meleon called K-Meleon? (Sorry if this was answered earlier, but my connection prevents me from going back to older messages easily; and I didn't see it in the docs.)

Well, I'm speculating here, but it SEEMS obvious: (to me anyway)

1. K-Meleon is a small form of Mozilla, Mozilla is a browser, yes, but it was also Netscape's original mascot, Mozilla is a dinosaur, hence a very LARGE lizard, while a chameleon is a small lizard.

2. K-Meleon mimics the appearence of Internet Explorer to some degree, a chameleon blends in with it's surroundings by changing it's color, therefore K-Meleon blends in with it's surroundings (Windows) and has a rather Explorer-like interface.

As to why they called it K-Meleon, probably because it sounds cooler than Chameleon.

The reason it's K-Meleon rather than Chameleon is because the original author (christophe thibault) wrote K-Jöfol (http://www.kjofol.com/), so K-Meleon fit with that theme.
