Thank you.
K-Meleon HTML engine is not supported by all sites any more.
If You have problems with a page it normally helps to spoof a Firefox user agent.
Tools/Outils > UserAgent/Chaine D'identification .... Firefox
For some pages You have to update to the stable K-Meleon1.6.beta which can he downloaded here:
http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/download.php#line27
It is supported by more pages but not by all.
Do not install 1.6 (or any other version, if You want to keep the older version) into the install folder that is offered first. Only the newest version installed is usable after that. Choose instead a unique new install name like 1.6.beta2en-US.
After that porocedure You have 2 versions that can be started & used independently.
The version 1.6 can use the same profile as K-Meleon 1.5.4 but You need to copy the 1.5.4 skin folder to 1.6 also for best results.
To get a French translation for most things You can copy the folder ./locales from K-Meleon1.5.4 to K-Meleon1.6. Press F2 after the next start and choose under GUI Appearance General the language: French. The change becomes effective right away. What ever stays English is not translated yet.
K-Meleon can be run under Linux using Wine. You can find some advice and can ask questions to Linux people like jujuland (speaks English & also French) and Fred (speaks English, French and German)
in the Linux section.
K-Meleon is a application that is developed with Windows tools using Microsoft proprietary libraries. There will be no native Linux K-Meleon development.
