Hello, i have an problem with implementing a new search enigine.
I want to have startpage (https://startpage.com/) as my standard search engine.
I made a new item in the Settings>Browsing>searching websites>search engines
But now i need the direct url for the search!
e.g for google its: http://www.google.com/search?q=
or altavista: http://www.altavista.com/web/results?itag=wrx&q=

so where can i find this direct url for startpage, i looked on there pages but didnt found it, maybe somebody can help me here.

Thanks!

Assuming English results are what you want then try:

https://startpage.com/do/search?&cat=web&language=english&query=

Yes, thats the solution.
But additionally i had to go to about:config look for "search"
and change the strings in

kmeleon.general.searchEngine and
kmeleon.plugins.macros.search.engine0.url

to this url.

Dont know why, but there was the old string from my first try with https://startpage.com/

now it works well, thanks
