While attempting to open a corrupted MS Word 2000 .doc I was offered an option to try to recover it's content. When I clicked on "Yes" the following .doc opened: "K-Meleon - Open Nick or Macro" Does anyone know what this is?

Are you defined K-Meleon to open .doc files and the system pass some parameter to K-Meleon to open .doc file, K-Meleon think you are trying to open some nick bookmarked.
Can you post some screen capture?
Are you chack right click in .doc file and "Properties" -> "Open with:" field indicate Word application and not K-Meleon?

It's an old macro (almost 7 years) from MonkeeSage.
Thanks, Guy's. Apparently I managed to corrupt the doc somehow. I'm just glad I have a hard copy backup. And that seems to be the very least of my problems now.
I am not sure what I did wrong but for some reason the Macros and User-Defines Macros folders at Edit > Configuration Will not open. Can some one please help me fix this? The folders open fine from the KM and the KM > Profiles > Default directories?

Are you sure exist this folders in your KM installation directory:
D:\K-Meleon\macros
D:\K-Meleon\Profiles\!!!!!!!!.default\macros
Check your profile path is right in your \K-Meleon\Profiles\profiles.ini file.
Check the macro file for this options: \K-Meleon\macros\cfg.kmm
Check you have enabled this macro in Preferences.

Thank you, desga2. Sure enough, that was it, the macro plugin was unchecked. I could have sworn I had examined that twice and that it was checked but I guess sometimes "swearing" just isn't enough.
Perhaps I caused the macro plugin to become unchecked by hitting some kind of hot key as I was typing something at about the time the problem occurred. It seems this same scenario played out once before.
