It will take some time for me to create Twin-minded KM74 (the build, containing all the updates, tweaks and additions, available here right now)

I think it would be done in the first weeks of new year. I want to be a good Santa and bring this at the New Year but I don't want to be a Santa Liar :cool:

while you're here, would it be okay to extend the left menu line with FAQ?
It's itching in my fingers to add it since years, but would be deleted right away ;-)

Perhaps also SKINS, linking to Themes15...
Oh, and use the evil forbidden word "addon" at least in the FAQ, where Firefox plugins are described to work all perfectly in KM too? ;-) To the average user a plugin/addon/macro are all just the same, just yesterday someone called a macro "plugin" again and wondered why a FF addon didn't work, when he dropped the xpi-file into the k-meleon folder.

Chome windows and nsiPromptService are two different things. Native windows are created with nsiPromptService, that is its purpose.
Where can I get your patch? Or you can send me at my sourceforge address.

I don't mind but I would like to keep the number of menu item as low as possible.

Thank you, so I added now only 3 tiny characters "FAQ" in the left column, not skins etc, hope it's ok that way
(Added in the other language versions too except RU, can't edit cyrillic)
(And looks like the forum has a menu of its own, my edits show up only on website and wiki)

p.s. rodocop has AFAIK also XMS this week.
Father Frost brings him big gifts - I hope.


He like most Europeans will not have much time for much outside (like K-Meleon hobby) but probably spends most of his time with his family this week. Much the same all over Europe - only exact days and customs are different.

but i have one question , why just lock your component function to 'about' locations ?
Couldn't it be done by using 'xml +css' binding to the 'menupopup' element in All XUL app & using 'handlers' to get the events.
Something like gecko binding in [omni.ja\chrome\toolkit\content\global\bindings] & the css [omni.ja\chrome\toolkit\content\globa\xul.css], maybe that will active textbox menu too.

I have built very initial 'XBL' to fit kmeleon74d by Dorian.
It activate the menus in tree xul like:
about:config & console1 [ chrome://global/content/console.xul ]
console2 & history (after fix the bug ,history has one too)

The next step is to activate the 'text box' menu .

Their is a slight bug the initial VBL menu patch. It removes "Next" and "Close" from the "Prefernces"

I removed the bug reasons ,here's the file (remember to delete the folder 'startupCache' in k-meleon\Profiles).

And about the right click menu in textbox, i managed to activate the menus in text box, but not able yet from linking textbox to menu 'undo,redo,copy, cut...' in textbox.xml .

I did it...

The menu of textbox now is active by this File (km74d ).

And remember to delete the folder 'startupCache' in [k-meleon\Profiles] & overwrite the old files .

I think some other function may active to but need some work .
