Also I have loaded Hao's gestures dll for drag and drop
of links etc but it only works from right click button
Previously it worked o'k from left click, I had to reinstall
win7 on the laptop and maybe I have forgotten exactly what to do.

Gestures.dll seems to have a bug in it, that restricts its options when 'Mouse gestures' are turned on. Try disabling them.

When I disable mouse gestures then links won't drag and open
at all.


I have followed these instructions from desga2 as before
on previous win7 installation.

You can change your 1.5 default mouse gesture plugin to Hao's mouse gesture plugin.
(Tested with CCF 0.8.5)

1) Go to your 1.5 installation folder and rename the extension of file gestures.dll in kplugins subfolder (for backup). For example: gestures._dll

2) Copy gestures.dll plugin from CCF kplugins subfolder to 1.5 kplugins subfolder.

3) Add CCF gestures preferences. There are two ways, from about:config or without K-Meleon load edit prefs.js in your K-Meleon profile folder:

user_pref("kmeleon.plugins.gestures.idrag", 1);
user_pref("kmeleon.plugins.gestures.drag", 0);
user_pref("kmeleon.plugins.gestures.links", 0);
user_pref("kmeleon.plugins.gestures.rdrag", 0);

4) Run K-Meleon and enable Mouse Gestures from F2 key (preferences panel).

Now Drag&Drop with links works!

On previous installation drag worked fine to open links from left mouse button. aI have used the same version of hao gestures dll taken from ccfme 097 in both instances, earlier hao gestures dll from ccfme 085 didn't work.
