Has something been changed because it used to work well.

Now I'm finding that terms I know I have personally posted in the past come up "No results were found" despite trying all the search permutations.

Remove Redirects

is an example. I have just posted it now in response to a question but I know i have also posted it a couple of times in the past [remove redirects is a bookmarklet]

remove link trackers is another I know I have posted

I've tried:
all words / any words /exact phrase

All forums/general

any date/last 30 days etc

show as threads/ show as messages

You can search for "remove" or "redirects" or "bookmarklet" or for your nick name " Arrow" in all dates and all forum.

There's much more than that missing from search results.

I didn't use to have to call up my own posts and trawl through pages of them to find something and often info I have in mind isn't in one of my posts it is posted by someone else in a thread I have written in.

The fact that there is an option for exact phrase would indicate that exact phrase can be sought.

Something is different - search here is not as efficient as it used to be.

I did not have any trouble with a search on 'redirects'. I got five hits.

I've manually trawled through some old posts of mine

Here is an example:

search for bookmarklets - and you will see no results older than one year despite searching for All dates.

post#1 contains the term bookmarklets
post#2 contains the term remove redirects

It is happening so often on stuff i know is on the forum and i notice now that many searches aren't going back further than 1yr when set to all dates
