what is different in the beta versions of kmeleon? Can the older no beta version work better in an computer with small memory?
what's the vantage of a beta version?

beta only means this one isn't 'officially released'.
But none KM-version now could be 'released' unless the community decides.
And sure, all betas are good-working builds.
I think old versions couldn't boast of being really lighter but the OS can be point of choice - old Win98 cannot work with newer KMs without modern unofficial updates, including kernelex.
And old versions are definitely less compatible with number of modern web-sites.
