No, it's not a shame. There is (were) only a programmer, and K-Meleon has only been made for Windows.
I'm now an ubuntu user since 08.10, and don't use Windows anymore (except at work), and continue to use K-Meleon under wine.
There is sometimes some crash I don't understand, but it's really not too much frequent.
I'm finishing to write again an extension which allows to use Linux programs to open links. It works since 2 years about, but I hadn't put it online, because it was written with a non free program. I'm now writing it with AutoIt3.
The only missing tool is a kind of setup to set parameters, and I'm finishing it
