I have uploaded a new unofficial version KM-16-F3626 ,
based on the updated Firefox 3.6.26 , Gecko 1.9.2.26 , date 20120128 .
Further updates for Firefox 3.6 should be available until
April, as many business customers will want to continue using
the older Firefox versions.
Note : This version needs the 80's runtimes. Download MSvce8dist.exe from
http://jujuland.pagesperso-orange.fr and install it.
As kplugins from K-Meleon 1.5 are being used, you will also need
the files msvcp71.dll and msvcr71.dll in your system or in your K-Meleon folder.
If you need these files, look for them in the internet.
The profile will be created inside the K-Meleon folder.
If in Linux you want it inside the ".wine" folder, because of
user rights problems, rename the file profile.ini to
profile.ini-renamed before the first start.
You can move the bookmarks toolbar to a new position.
It is in the button with the green arrow on black background.
In Windows (not in Linux) it can be moved into another line
or into a new line.
Sorry, but I do not understand what you say, Fred.
The problem is that in this version I can not see the bookmarks button. Where is it?
All I do is unzip the new verison as it is downloaded, unchanged (skin AuraAlpha Large).
Greetings.

The bookmarks button should be the star-formed button.
If you cannot see it, it is either a corrupted download
or else you do not have the files msvcp71.dll and msvcr71.dll
in your system or in your K-Meleon folder.
The kplugins in this variation need these files to work.
If you need these files, look for them in the internet
and put them into the main K-Meleon folder.
I hope that it will work then for you.

Thank you very much for your answer, Fred, then helped me find the solution.
The mistake was that I used, in addition to the file msvcp71.dll, the file msvcr80.dll instead of the file msvcr71.dll. It seems that this version does not work very well with the file msvcr80.dll. I changed the file, put the msvcr71.dll and all fixed.
Now, I found another problem: when I try to go to the router (192.168.1.1), it get the following error message: "Protected Object. This object on the server is protected RomPager."
This message only appears with this version, if for example I use version KM-16-S2015pre, or Internet Explorer, or Chrome, no problem.
Which may be?
Greetings.

I am not very familiar with router problems.
Have you changed the default password ?
Resetting to the product default by pressing
the reset button for a while could work, but
I do not know for sure.
May be somone else would know the answer,
or try to ask the help desk of your
provider.

Does the router normally give an html login screen or does it put out a Windows style dialog box?
If the latter then close KM and go to the folder you installed it in with Explorer. Look in the sub folder called Components for the file nsLoginManagerPrompter.js and delete or move this file somewhere KM won't see it.
Thank you very much for your answer, CJ.
I deleted the file nsLoginManagerPrompter.js and now I can access the router without any problems.
I hope now no other problems appear to have removed that file nsLoginManagerPrompter.js

Do you have the files msvcp71.dll and msvcr71.dll in
your system ?
If not, look for them in the internet and put
them into the K-Meleon main folder.
These files are necessary for the K-Meleon kplugins
to work in this version.
