query about searching a string

Hi

I am new user of k-meleon. I want to know about some function. In chrome, if I have to search about some string , say , 'computers' , then I just highlight it with left mouse button and then do right click and choose Search Google for Computers. It then opens a new tab and displays the search results. Even k-meleon has this kind of facility but the search results are given in the same tab , instead of opening a new tab. How do I change this behavior ?

Same way here

after having highlighted the words, right-click > Search > Choose the engine

Just select the text of the page you want to search,and then click the search button on the toolbar,in default the search result may be opened in a new window,of course you can change the way as the screenshot showing:
