Lately when I try to login to Hotmail I get this message "XML parsing error: not well formed".
Is that a browser issue?
I can login to my hotmail account but not reach the mail inbox.
I'm having the same problem. Can't figure it out, nothing has been changed on my computer. Help!!
It is a KM issue, I can get to my mail with IE.
How can I fix this in KM?

Both 1.6.beta2 and 1.5.4 work on the German Hotmail version (live.de).
Means that I could not idetify what can be causing Your problem.
Make sure to have activated JavaScript, cookies and can load images freely.
p.s. If You have trouble on any page You always try with user Agent set to spoof Firefox but AFAIK that is needed for Hotmail.
Reason to camouflage as Firefox is that the two browsers use the same html rendering engines. The same does not mean absolutely identical. If You are using 1.5.4 that is feature identical with Firefox 2 (so You spoof that). If You are using 1.6.beta2 You spoof Firefox 3/4. The later K-Meleon version is needed by some pages.
Maybe this is adblock plus...
Add this line:
@@|http:// ...
for km 1.5.x, 1.1.x use opera ua for hotmail and live services
tools>useragent>custom>
Opera/10.00 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en) Presto/2.2.0
or use autoagent switcher extension which will use the opera string on live websites

I've been having issues with Hotmail. I have Vista SP2 and K-Meleon 1.6.0 and cannot do anything in Hotmail. It works just fine in Chrome and IE, so I don't know what is causing it. I tried to set the user agent to Firefox but it doesn't help.
markxxx, do you have either Adblock Plus or Noscript installed for K-meleon (or even both of them installed)? either one of them may be preventing Hotmail from working correctly in KM 1.6 beta.
follow what km2 says in his post if you have Adblock Plus for K-meleon installed.
If Noscript for K-meleon 1.6 is installed, add the following sites onto the Noscript white list:
live.com
hotmail.com
msn.com
passport.com
passport.net
wlxrs.com
Also, on the K-meleon menu bar, click on Edit, Preferences and click on the Privacy & Security section. Under "Accept Cookies", set that option to Always.

Our beta's are not all quite native anymore, some of us added a fix here and there since it came out. There was also one about XML
