Thanks for any help. Running KM 1.5.4. Just installed a Windows 7 Pro.
Want to change the home page to www.dailyoverlook.com. It works but won't stay put.
I did a search on the forum but found no solutions here.

Grant writing privileges to K-Meleon's program folder.

Uhm, especially for the personal Profile folder ;-)
click Edit > Configuration > Profile Directory, that will open it in the file explorer. Go two levels higher then right-click on the folder "Profiles", look in the menu for some entry named "Security" to grant yourself writing permissions to that folder.
Hmm, not quite sure if that's the same names for win7...? Just look and see

Writing permissions to the program folder of K-meleon are needed to customize skins and toolbar buttons etc.
