small icons in toolbars

I have two questions

1) Is there way to make small icons in toolbars?

2) Is there way to open the tabs in the background, even if it is a new tab command?

F2 > GUI Appearance and select there a skin with smaller icons.

When you go to Help > FAQ you will find tons of useful informations like "how to open new links in bacgroud"? http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/wiki/FAQ#mouseaccels
