how to update fanboy's adblock subscriptions

could you guys please tell me how to update the adblock's subscriptions both optimized element filters and adblock filters for fanboy in k-meleon.
i guess k-meleon is using the filters for fanboy as default. and where do i copy-paste those subscriptions??
Does k-meleon has a urlfilter.ini file as provided in the fanboy's page. i guess i have seen a optimized element filter file in the installation folder subdirectory..

i would appreciate any kind of help. waiting for your replies

I don't know how to update it but you can use Adblock Plus with K-M 1.6 https://adblockplus.org/development-builds/k-meleon-builds-mostly-usable-now which automatically updates your filter subscriptions.

You have the subscriptions here:
https://adblockplus.org/en/subscriptions
Or from his home page:
http://www.fanboy.co.nz/adblock/

K-Meleon use the Opera Adblock, CSS Element Filter:
https://secure.fanboy.co.nz/opera/fanboy-adblocklist-elements-v3.css

Unzip the latest Adblock Plus build https://adblockplus.org/devbuilds/adblockpluskmeleon/ in K-Meleon root folder.
If you never used ABP before please read https://adblockplus.org/en/getting_started

thanks for replying but am not planning to use adblock plus. i meant only the fanboy adblock subscriptions css(adblock+optimized element filters).the very reason i switched to using k-meleon is because its fast and low on the resources. adblockplus indeed leaks in lot of memory.

Really? Did you make tests? Did you contact the author about that?

K-Meleon use the Opera Adblock, CSS Element Filter:
https://secure.fanboy.co.nz/opera/fanboy-adblocklist-elements-v3.css

Download this file and update it in next folders:
In defaults to be copied in next new profiles;
\K-Meleon1.6_Beta2\defaults\profile\chrome\fanboy-adblocklist-elements-v3.css

And in your current profile, for example if you are using profiles in K-Meleon folder;
\K-Meleon1.6_Beta2\Profiles\!!!!!!!!.default\chrome\fanboy-adblocklist-elements-v3.css

Not needed, adblock file only have a call to include fanboy's css filters and other old filters from Fred included in 1.5.4.

@ anytime:- it does leak in a lot of memory. With ABP K-meleon consumes 35MB more than its usual in my tests with K-meleon. The same carries out with any other browser too but the usage may vary. You can google its issues with various browsers. U'll see :-) Chrome, firefox, opera

Its issue has been mentioned in K-meleon forums itself
http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/forum/read.php?9,107739

Shouldn't the Application Data folder too be changed?
I mean
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\K-Meleon\o3pif8o6.default\chrome\fanboy-adblock-elements.css
as this doesn't seem to be updating at the same time?

This not remove blank spaces, for it I think that you need AdblobkPlus.

Yes it's, if you have your KM profile in your windows user folder.
