Google instant search

I noticed that when I upgraded from an older version of K-Meleon to 1.6, Google instant search is now on by default. I don't know how this works, but when using the older version of K-Meleon, Google instant search was off by default. How might I get that behavior back in 1.6?

Ahh, switching the user agent to seamonkey turns it off. Thanks disrupted.
