How to set custom favicons for bookmarks?

Hi, and Thanks to all who make this fast, light browser available,
I'm really enjoying using it smiling smiley

I just read a post where "disturbed" mentioned that favicons are stored
in %profile%IconCache.dat & storing must also be enabled in Preferences.

I do have that enabled, yet only one website is showing their favicon.

Is there a way to specifically add favicons to that file,
even if the website doesn't "show" it in a way that would enable KM to grab it?

I do this in IE8 - I've grabbed my own icons & manually associate them
with the bookmark-link under "Properties,
then I store the icon in the Links folder so that the bookmark-favorite
maintains its association with the favicon.

Thanks for any helps!

Sorry. No. There is no programmed way to associate icons manually to bookmarks.html (NETSCAPE-Bookmark-file) items/links.

IE stores the icons and favorites differently in tiny files:

[InternetShortcut]
URL=file:///C:/V8/run.html
IconFile=C:\OS\system32\url.dll
HotKey=0
IconIndex=3
IDList=

K-Meleon's Internet Explorer Favorites Plugin does not recognize what You can do for IE. Bold. It is less integrated into system than IE.

You will see Your associated icon while You edit the favorites. That is all.
