K-Meleon Web Browser Forum
BBC iPlayer will not work in K-Meleon or Firefox.
It works OK in IE.
STV Player and Channel 4 p;ayer both work fine.
This started after an upgrade to Firefox.
Any ideas?
When I tried, BBC iPlayer played its movies via a flash player in my K-Meleon 1.5.4 de-DE.
Download flash player plugin from Extensions, extract it and copy it to to ./program files/Firefox/plugins and ./program files/K-Meleon/plugins - the same deal for all non IE browsers.
Alternatively go & install flash player from Adobe. At this make sure You activate Mozilla/Netscape plugin support during install. The full install is auto detected by K-Meleon and Firefox but it can accept flash cookies
p.s. Only IE uses the activeX plugin - which You seem to have installed.
Mozilla flash plugin was probably de-installed when You altered Firefox settings.
