this script fixes several display issues in youtube affecting gecko 1.8.x (kmeleon 1.1.x -1.5.x)

to install using usercontent(standard):
in kmeleon go to the edit menu>configuration>user-defined stylesheet, this will open usercontent.css in notepad.. copy orange text belowe and paste in usercontent.css , save the file and restart kmeleon

to install using stylish extension, just create a new style and copy and paste the code- restart is not required

Can you point me to that Stylish extension you mention in your first post, disrupted? I have one that enables an Stylesheets menu. But I don't know if it is the same one.

Does this new CSS code overrides the other one you posted a while ago? Is a long code which changes some BACKGROUNDs, colors and other things.

no it's alright to use both together without any conflicts since one is for fixing position bugs, they other is for colours..but the new serenity is already updated to include all the fixes so you'dn't need to use the fix code..

stylish adds a menu called stylish in the tools menu..i think you mean the regular styles macro or siria's extreme styles.. stylish is xul so opens its own windows where you can edit and disable styles

i am new in k-melon (older version 152) and installed this script in usercontent.css.

remeber you'll need to restart but if that's not the case..then you might not have permission rights for the profile folder. make sure you're the administrator or user with privileges on the system. to check you can open the usercontent file again and check if the changes you have made were saved.

you can download this usercontent. file [file removed-outdated] see first post(right-click-save taget as) it's already fixed for youtube' replace your one with it. remember your usercontent.css is inside your profile folder in a subfolder called chrome

all is working fine now with the download from sourceforge.

but the only difference i watch in the files is the layout/line breaks/comment lines. i copied the script above to the the default/existing usercontent.css - layout and comment lines were preserved. in the downloaded file there is no layout ... (bad readability).

because there are some other interesting styles for k-meleon: is there a need to remove the comments in the example file ?

and (sorry, newbie as told):

what is the meaning of lines like

no it doesn't connect, it's a standard referrer to w3..you can remove it if it makes you uneasy

@namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml); ist IMHO der Namensraum für den der CSS Eintrag gilt. Näheres findest du sicher auf selfhtml.org. Es ist AFAIK keine Link URL.

I used the usercontent.css from disrupted but there still remains a problem in the presentation of the playlist at the bottom of youtube (see picture - e.g. url: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfxx2LwZwJU&a=4oVf-d_DwKD7aCG61Qh_x5Ev5E1DtY81&list=ML&playnext=1
): the next button doesn't work and not all the videos in the playlist are shown or attendable.

maka olena, that code in the linked usercontent.css is outdated.. it was only provided for a user who couldn't edit the usercontent file. please use the orange code at the very first post. open your usercontent.css file and delete all its contents and paste the orange code into it and restart kmeleon.

for all users: the usercontent.css linked in this thread is outdated and doesn't work properly, only use the orange code at the first post or refer to the usercontent wiki for updates

But for the k-meleon 1.5.4 the ccs-style for youtube doesn't work completely as it should : the bottom tray of the playlist of the Medialuna Tango Project Mix shows only 7 videos out of 35 (see picture in link previous post), the next button does not function.
I don't know why.

sorry that was my mistake. after yahoo updated their slider-carousel to slider-body, i didn't think there will be a problem in displaying all lists in playlist or queued items because it worked before normally so didn't test adding many videos and just tested add/delete list.. the problem was that the item-list was limited to 8 and couldn't display more videos.

it has been fixed now and should display all added videos in a queue or from a playlist.. see the first post for the update. copy orangish code and replace the older one in usercontent.css or in your custom stylish style

yt fix has been updated to address user logo image partially displaying and user video expand button not showing:

but saving the page and open it local there is a problem. the buttons and the info behind are missed.
