How can I make accents display properly (éèêà...) ?

J'ai un peu l'impression de les emmerder, avec mes histoires d'accents.
Finalement, je vais le traduire en Basque. Là au moins, y'en a pas (d'accents).

It starts displaying the text after the accent :

&Nouvelle fenêtre becomes tre

or

&Gérer les profils becomes rer les profils
