not on my XP system! Hotmail seems to load fine (and barely superfast) in KM 1.5.4.
slow computer perhaps, ay Davey? try a new KM user profile and see if KM loads Hotmail faster than your existing user profile. if that doesn't help, it could be something else that's causing hotmail not to load fast enough.

It's fine in Opera 10.50. & SRWare Iron (Vista Home Premium).

It seems OK now but my MSN page seems to have a problem loading with the mail widget. It loaded fine until I 'refreshed' mail. It's fine in every other browser I have.

just wondering Dave, what version of KM were you using when you experienced the Hotmail problem?
also tested the Hotmail site on another XP computer but with KM 1.6.0a3 build 4 and that one loaded pretty fast.

I have only had a Hotmail account since Saturday & I'm using KM 1.5.4. It seems to be the mail widget on my My MSN page that is problematical. UA spoofing has no effect.
It's fine in Hotmail though....you can't have everything I suppose...

What is it with webpage widgets? Firefox/SeaMonkey has problems in My Yahoo! but not in My MSN & K-Meleon has problems with the mail widget in My MSN.
It's unusual for KM to have problems like this in my experience. It works OK in Hotmail now.
Maybe the Gecko 1.8.1.24 is having some conflict with some MSN gadgets/widgets? It seems fine in normal MSN pages however.
try them in latest KM 1.6.0 alpha and see if you get the same results with My Yahoo and My MSN.
I've considered doing that. I think I'll just wait for the stable release & see what happens then. I have Opera & I can open Hotmail & My MSN in that. I mask Opera as Firefox on MSN sites usually. For some strange reason that seems to work better than spoofing Internet Explorer! Microsoft have never wanted to make anything easy for non IE users. With Opera AND K-Meleon I just about have the Net covered. What one is poor in the other compensates for usually. I'd rather switch between two really good fast browsers than use just one slowcoach like IE 8.
EDIT: Oh yeah...Bing Maps don't work properly either.

i have problem with some web pages too:
http://onyxftp.mykonicaminolta.com/download/Search.aspx?ht=
can't open konica minolta drivers page... winxp, sp3, kmeleon 1.5.4
sorry, that i did not make new thead fot this bug...
Set the UserAgentString to Firefox 2. Does solve it for me anyway.
Done in Tools submenue. Tools -> User Agent ->
Or install and use AutoSwitcher extension and add Minolta as bad page.
As JamesD already mentioned You get wrong JS.
So - the page does not recognize K-Meleon as Gecko based browser. So its Browser switch does not work well. So You get code that is good for another browser. & JS for IE has always been another, incompatible JS dialect.
Does not need it new thread - it is about the same problem group & that is: browser switches, pages that serve incompatible, non standard code and pages that bar K-Meleon browsers intentionally.
BTW. Spoof UserAgentString is standard procedure (!) for most of theses shoddy pages. FF 2 is the first bet but there are more to try e.g. Opera 9 under Linux
