Could the problem be the browser? I was using yahoo mail in safari browser (which is where I believe I set it up) until I transferred to Firefox and tried to access my yahoo email account. I am able to receive and read messages but I can't seem to be able to compose and send any. I am trying to figure out what the problem is but since this has occurred since I changed browsers, I have naturally enough assumed that this might be the problem but then maybe it's just that I'm not IT literate! Good luck. Let me know if you find a solution.

when ever I try to send E mail or send Attachement error report come on the screen & when i try to solve it Iam not able to send message how should i solve this problem
no problems here in composing or forwarding messages.
0 try to use classic mail type instead of yahoo advanced
- check cookies settings in preferences>privacy and securito>accept all cookies works better with yahoo
- see your yahoo mail account preferences on how to send or compose, perhaps a setting is causing the problem
if you still having problems, test with this yahoo mail account:
username: kmeleontesters
password: fuckyahoo
do you still have the sam e problems using kmeleontesters?

You have probably deactivated JavaScript e.g. accidntly toggled it via F7.
My answer assumes that You use K-Meleon web browser, this is the K-Meleon General user forum. The cause is the same - if You use another browser.
Feel free to read the other answers in this thread.
Yahoo, Hotmail ... are FAQs. They have stupid browser switches...and... and all this generates a lot questions. Just because of their brainless policies.
For K-Meleon and some other browsers that are not recognized by Yahoo's browser switch it is needed that You imitate another browser with the same rendering and JavaScript engine. For K-Meleon You should spoof/mimicry Firefox 2.
1.) set browser User Agent String from default to Firefox, done in Submenu of Tools.
2.) You also have to allow Cookies and JavaScript to get Yahoo working.
K-Meleon toggles JavaScript with F7 make sure You have not used the key by accident. Confer settings via F2 -> Privacy & JavaScript respectively.
Its a FAQ in this forum: How to get Yahoo new web mail service and some other pages working for K-Meleon.

Thinking about it, it would probably make sense to really create a little sticky post for those subjects... Something like "Yahoo, Hotmail, Facebook and other quirky sites"
siria, IMHO this cannot be explained, answered and solved by rational means.
Even before I answered this time, this thread has had all answers that can be given by PPL that do not work for Yahoo. There are several threads similar to this - like "a letter to hotmail". The facts are already in the FAQs.
My idea: If Your mail account does not work, You are in panic, I would be if I needed it. I would stop reading - just ask in the first thread that I find via search engine.
Some high ranking search engine links seem to lead to our forum. So we do not just get K-Meleon users. We are asked by all paniking users.
Also it sometimes seems to me that there are miss-configured yahoo servers.
Then questions come from the same region.
Maybe one day an Yahoo employee find our threads and makes a new browser switch that helps K-Meleon users.
p.s. We should include "autoswitcher" with known bad sites into the next version.
Perhaps that would make enough noise at Yahoo, hotmail etc.
As result K-Meleon user would stop to ask and the threads about yahoo loose their ranking

change useragent to firefox and see if it works..if it does then download the useragent autoswitcher and extract in the kmeleon folder go to tools>useragent> and activate autoswitcher(kmeleon should now change the agent to firefox everytime you use yahoo mail)
