[quote=disrupted] there is no advantage in spoofing the ua with gmx other than visually removing the alert. the additional features in gmx require gecko 1.9, spoofing as a wrong gecko(not necessarily firefox) will remove the alert but may break some of the functions as they will not work on 1.8 i understand the alert can be irritating to the eye, but a better way is to remove it using css and not changing your ua go to edit>configuration>user defined styles(custom) this will open usercontent.css in your notepad add those lines: [color=olive][sub]@-moz-document url-prefix(http://www.gmx.com) ,url-prefix(http://www.gmx.de) ,url-prefix(http://www.gmx.us) ,url-prefix(http://www.gmx.net) ,url-prefix(http://www.gmx.co.uk) ,url-prefix(http://gmx.de) ,url-prefix(http://gmx.us) ,url-prefix(http://gmx.net) ,url-prefix(http://gmx.co.uk) ,url-prefix(http://gmx.com) { *[class^="PanelBoxError"] { display: none !important; } }[/sub][/color] save the file and restart kmeleon[/quote]
