I think that possiblement this is a memory manage bug. When you close the browser this save all preferences and settings in your profile, this need a little time, but if you try open the browser in this time profile files are unavailable to read it because K-Meleon try saved all configs (writing data in it). By default K-Meleon generate a new profile if none profile exist or if the set profile is busy or unaccessible.

K-Meleon version: K-Meleon 1.5a1update2, but the version doesn't matter (I've ALWAYS had this problem, with ANY KM release)

Windows version: XP SP2

Number of opened layers: this is not important, it happens both with dozens of layers and with only one layer.

Numebr of closures end re-openings: some hundreds, keep in mind that I've to often reboot the system, every 3 or 4 hours, and this kills all running processes (including K-M).

I've always other browsers running, they are managed as K-M is, BUT this bug happens ONLY with K-M.[/quote]
