1. & 2.) the same here: I have had Vista & I also have Win 7 RC installed & negative experiences with both.

I always have dev environments installed. When I compiled SeaMonkey GRE (offline with aparently full priviledges) it aborted with You do not have rights... (with Vista I did not bother/format C:/). When I wanted to grant full privilges for the Mozilla source folder while testing Win 7, it worked about 20 minutes to do this (big folder some 300 odd MB).

Obviously it set rights for each file not for the folder.

After that experience I did not accept MS' mail offer to buy Win7 for about 50 Euro.

Du kannst für den K-Meleon Ordner volle Rechte setzen und alternativ zur Windows Uninstall Routine einfach ./Programe/K-Meleon/unistall.exe starten oder wie schon gesagt, einfach das Verzeichnis löschen. Profile nicht vergessen.

K-Meleons macht nur einen Eintrag in die Registry, damit ihm Windows den Pfad zu den Netscape/Mozilla plugins mitteilt und er sie nutzen kann. Sonst ist da nix zu entsorgen.

Ich habe immer Entwicklungsumbgebungen, als ich einen SeaMonkeys zum K-Meleon-Updaten bauen wollte. "Du darftst nicht zugreifen..." Vista wurde sofort formatiert, Win7 habe ich zum Testen, als ich für den 300+ MB Mozilla Quellkode Ordner Rechte setzen wollte, dauerte es ca. 20 Minuten.

Offensichtlich wurden da Rechte für jede Datei nicht den Ordner geändert. :(

Danach war mir das MS Angebot zu teuer: Win7 für ca. 50 Euronen.:P
