Every 'branch' is represented in my signature. Try to download one of these portable builds and browse problem sites with them.

2) Use UserAgent spoofing like described above.

3) If no way is solving the problem - then no chance for old KM engine remains.
The last and only way is to use another browser or engine. You can use Trident engine (one from MS Internet Explorer) directly from KM if [url=http://kmext.sourceforge.net/extensions/coralietab.7z]ietab[/url] extension is present (already there in some builds).

And one more way - get K-Meleon Twin and use 'Chromium Button' which installs GoogleChromeFrame (engine of Chrome browser) into your system and then you can open problematic pages by modern Chrome engine directly in K-Meleon.
