Great tips, thanx nfpr!! :) It was getting on my nerves for SOO long, that google only gave 10 results if I wouldn't allow their ad cookies :P By the way there's no encryption needed, works just as well with the 'normal' connection: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&nfpr=1&num=30&q= That's without any search word at the end, the way it must be configured for auto-search, unlike bookmarks-nick or hotlist-nick, where one must append a %1. E.g. one can set a bookmark with nick "ge" to search english, and another bookmark with "hl=de" in it and nick "gd" to search german. That means, typing "gd blabla" in the URL bar then hitting Return gives german results, and typing "ge blabla" gives english blabla results ;-) If anyone wants to change auto-search, go to F2 > Browsing > Finding Websites / Search engines And then in the same prefs sheet in the first tab again ("URL bar"), at the bottom, choose that engine for auto-search (if the word in the URL bar can't be found as domain). Hmm... never realized it's a bit complicated with those default engines and those in the menu, e.g. my globe-right-click-menu looks much different from anything in the configuration sheet *scratchinghead* And had not realized yet that the "default search engine" (if hitting globe or Ctrl+G) is something different than the engine for auto-search (if hitting just Return)!! At any rate, if anyone has trouble with modifying the auto-search (=Return-key), you can alternatively go to about:config and filter for "searchengine", then double-click to modify
