The little login box also is full-page-size, even after toggling those "docinfo-forcetab"-prefs off again.
this is due to this bug: http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/bugs/viewbug.php?bugid=1261 it affects all xul dialogues including extensions not just the prefs panel. that bug isn't in fireftp but in kmeleon.. i've mentioned before that no extensions-especially xul ones should be tested on km 1.6 until it's at leats rc: 1- it's not easy to identify if the bug is related to the extension on 1.9 or a bug in 1.6 2- fixing an extension for 1.6 alpha could be a waste of time as it might need additional fixes or modifications when the stable is released i know everyone loves to call the latest release beta or prebeta but that's wrong and misleading to end-users. even with desga's pref updates, there are several core bugs and that makes it strictly an alpha. dorian is the sole person to designate releases and so far dorian never mentioned a beta or prebeta and until that happens, the 1.6 is still an alpha..you can add any release number to it but that won't make it a beta. there is a massive difference in release standards between open source and commercial software. open source standards are far more strict. a 'stable' in a commercial product can hardly pass for beta in open source. maybe tif this was internet explorer or opera we can easily dub it a beta or even rc and no one would really care and everyone will feel better about a final just around the corner but this is an open source product and calling it a beta or prebeta at its current stage is almost like a lie..especially to those who know opensource
