in /home/ubuntu and copy and paste the fonts

this folder  .fonts  .
This will bring  the fonts to Openoffice etc, for the
user ubuntu, but not for other users.
To make it general for all users, you would have to
put the Windows fonts into a new folder msttcorefonts in
/usr/share/fonts/truetype/  .
