And especially no idea why Firefox needs it in its folder, what does that have to do with K-Meleon? Could it be somehow related to an extension perhaps?
I assume that You get the error 'MOZCRT19.DLL is missing' also when it is broken. That is rare but such things can happen both with Firefox and K-Meleon. No that is unlikely. p.s. 'MOZCRT19.DLL' = Mozilla Custom C++ Runtime. All GRE (those build for Firefox also :) ) that are build with the build parameter: "ac_add_options --enable-jemalloc" have this custom runtime. A patch by B. Smedberg replaces the runtime's heap handling default allocator with jemalloc to improve Firefox/Mozilla GRE's memory usage for the 3.0 and later releases. Any exe or dll that that is compiled with reference to that runtime needs it. You can also build K-Meleon.exe and Kplugins so that Mozilla Custom C++ Runtime instead of the normal CRT (C Run Time) is used.
