one significant change is the official inclusion of the equivalent ff version in the app line for all gecko products, it's not compulsory especially for independent projects like kmeleon or camino but it seems mozilla is fed-up with detections not identifying geckos like seamonkey which has website sniffing issues just like kmeleon. it's not a new idea, orca and sleipnir|lunascape were first to add an ff line for app  but bottom line ..mozilla is saying all geckos should include it which consequently means they will all be identified as firefox by website stats..it doesn't matter if you add a kmeleon line or 'not firefox' as long as there a firefox line in the ua string the browser will be counted as firefox. the new recommended ua will eventually kill the geckoisgecko.org community and  calls for proper feature/engine detection[/quote]
